CHAPTER
HISTORY

Pi Psi Lambda was chartered on March 26, 1994 making it the the first alumni fraternity chapter of the Divine 9 chartered to serve Gadsden County.

Two ambitious Alpha men, Brothers Don White (right) and Melvin Lumpkin (left), canvassed their individual communities and saw the need for the light of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to shine brightly in them. An urging was realized to allow other professional men in Gadsden, County, FL and Decatur County, GA  to join the ranks of their beloved fraternity. After deciding that Quincy, FL would be the seat for the budding chapter, they sought out other brothers to join together and form a local chapter.
