Rooted in service, leadership, and academic excellence, we proudly stand as a beacon of progress for the Gadsden and Decatur County communities—committed to uplifting, empowering, and inspiring those we serve.

 

Our chapter continues to build on the rich legacy of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. by cultivating leaders, advocating for educational equity, and advancing initiatives that promote social justice and community well-being. Through mentorship, scholarship opportunities, youth development programs, and partnerships with local schools, churches, and civic organizations, we strive to make a lasting and visible impact.

In addition to these efforts, Pi Psi Lambda is deeply engaged in voter education, registration, and advocacy initiatives. We work to ensure that every eligible citizen has the knowledge, access, and confidence to participate in the democratic process. Civic engagement is central to our mission, and we remain committed to empowering our communities to use their voices to create lasting change.

 

As the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American men, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has always been a force for change, and Pi Psi Lambda proudly carries that mantle forward.
