On March 26, 1994, nine strong, brave, and ambitious Alpha Men assembled at the Simmon Scott Center and formally initiated the inception of the chapter we know and love. Since our inception, our chapter has made immense strides to display, Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and, Love for All Mankind" and its without a doubt that we will continue to hold the Light of Alpha up high as we embark on our milestone of 25 years of service within our community. The Pi Psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. is committed to providing scholarships, promoting and supplying support and aid to other in need, and instituting programs to provide guidance to the youth within our community. We wholeheartedly believe that with our involvement we can provide services to advance of our community more than we could ever imagine. We each can play a vital rule in the success and sustainability of the programs and events we implement which are impactful within our community. Collectively to aim to stimulate and positive growth and advancement of the youth and families within our communities.  

We are pleased to say that our chapter has been recognized in the community and received awards for our dedicated service. As we continue to move onward and upward, we strongly hope to inspire others to consider becoming a part of our community missions though partnerships. As Alpha Men we are confident that our contributions of hardwork and service will continue to uphold our motto, “First of All, Servants of All and We Shall Transcend All.”
